Does Wondercide kill fleas instantly? Will it break the flea life cycle?Updated 2 months ago

Wondercide Flea & Tick Pets + Home and Outdoor sprays (Yard + Garden and Outdoor Pest Control) kill fleas by contact. Lab testing shows fleas will be dead within 15 minutes of contact. Once the spray has dried, it shifts to ongoing repellency rather than continued killing.

Wondercide kills fleas in the egg, larvae, and adult stages by contact. It will not kill those in the pupae stage, because the cocoon protects them. This is completely normal for similar products that also target fleas. New adult fleas can continue to emerge from those cocoons, which is why routine applications are important to establish control and maintain protection.

If you’re actively treating fleas:

PET

Spray pets daily until you no longer see live fleas. A light but thorough mist works best, including belly, back, legs, tail, and neck. Apply by hand to your pet's ears and face. Avoid spraying directly in the mouth, nose, and eyes. Full coverage will ensure the best results. Do not soak your pet. Wondercide kills by contact when wet, and repels once dry. Spray their bedding as needed. Daily application will also ensure continued repellency

HOME

Vacuum rugs and furniture first to pull eggs and larvae to the surface, then spray as much surface area as possible, including flooring, furniture, baseboards, and bedding. No need to soak or saturate surfaces. A light misting with regular frequency will provide the best results. Fleas prefer dark, warm spots, so include closets, under sinks, and around appliances.

YARD

Apply every few days until control is established. For ongoing protection, spray monthly or as needed, depending on pest pressure. Seasonality plays a major role, and pest activity will naturally rise and fall throughout the year. When using concentrate, you can increase the dilution from 8 oz to 10 oz per 5,000 sq ft during high pest pressure.
