Can I use Wondercide on hot spots?Updated 2 months ago
Hot spots can appear quickly, and we know how stressful that can be. Wondercide doesn’t make products specifically designed or labeled for medical conditions like hot spots, and the causes of irritated skin can vary. If an area looks severe, keeps returning, or isn’t improving, checking in with your veterinarian is always the best next step.
Wondercide RESCUE™ Skin Spray is made for everyday skin irritations and is powered by Pure Hypochlorous, a molecule your pet’s immune system naturally makes. It’s lick-safe and sting-free when used as directed. It has a safety profile similar to saline, but it isn’t designed or labeled for open skin or wounds, so we can’t offer assurances for that type of application. Your vet can guide you if the skin is broken or actively healing.
Flea & Tick Pets + Home can be used on pets who have a hot spot, just avoid spraying directly on irritated or broken skin. If you need flea, tick, or mosquito protection while the area heals, simply spray other parts of the coat and avoid the sensitive spot.
Wondercide products are designed to support everyday comfort and protection. For more complicated or persistent skin issues, partnering with your veterinarian ensures your pet gets exactly what they need. We're here for you and your pack anytime.
